Event Description
The next ACTnet Asia‑Pacific Regional TB Journal Club will be held on Friday 22 May at 1:00 pm, featuring guest speaker Dr Beth Morgan.
Dr Beth Morgan is an Infectious Diseases Advanced Trainee at Austin Health with a strong interest in global health and tuberculosis. She recently completed the Diploma of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene (Gorgas Course, Lima, Peru) through the University of Alabama, Birmingham. Her honours research focused on dengue vaccine development using novel needle‑free microprojection array technology, a platform with potential global health applications. Her current research focuses on tuberculosis treatment support with an emphasis on patient‑centred care in high‑burden settings, and she hopes to continue working in TB, global, and migrant health following completion of her advanced training.
