Event Description
The next ACTnet Asia-Pacific Regional TB Journal Club will be held on Tuesday 28 July at 1:00 pm AEST and will feature guest speaker Dr Glyzelle Lagason.
Dr Glyzelle Lagason is a physician and Medical Research Investigator at TBHIV Innovations and Clinical Research Foundation Corp in the Philippines, where she works on clinical studies in tuberculosis (TB), HIV, and malnutrition. Her research supports evidence-based strategies for the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of these conditions.
Alongside her research, Dr Lagason practices primary care and is committed to translating clinical evidence into everyday healthcare. Her interests include TB, HIV, vaccination, and implementation research aimed at strengthening public health programs and improving health outcomes in underserved populations.
